637 bills on the watchlist · 50 US states · 10 legislatures · data last checked 2026-10-26

Every bill, rule and official policy document that hits our watch list (encryption mandates and bans, 3D-printed weapons laws, age verification and social-media restrictions, surveillance tech, right-to-repair and privacy bills) tracked across all 50 states, Congress, and parliaments worldwide. Find your state on the map, filter by topic, or search a title. Each entry opens the bill's own page, the legislature's where we can reach it directly, or the tracker that indexes it. Read it honestly: this is a keyword watchlist, not legal advice or a complete record, a bill that never uses our watch terms won't appear here, and listing isn't an endorsement. Check the bill's own page for its current status.

// Where the radar is blind
  • Refused, not missing. Germany, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand and Australia all publish their bills, and all five put something in front of an automated reader. Four of those doors opened once knocked the right way: Ireland runs a plain open API, New Zealand publishes an open feed of its current bills, Australia answers a browser on its whole “bills before Parliament” list, and Germany answers a proof-of-work check and then hands over the official DIP docket, which its own terms require machine readers to use. All four feed this table now.
  • Israel arrives through a side door. The Knesset's own API reads where a request comes from and refuses this network outright (a location check, not a missing file. Israeli bills are therefore read second-hand, from KnessetVotes, an independent civic index built on the Knesset's own open data; the links open on its pages, not the Knesset's. The real door is still locked) this is a window cut in the wall, and we would rather name the window than pretend we walked through the door.
  • Depth varies by parliament. Congress and the EU are swept whole, every bill in the current Congress, every live EU procedure. State legislatures are scanned on a rolling weekly cycle, each one once every seven days, so a state line here can be up to a week old. The newer doors carry what they carry: France and Canada give us their latest deposits, India and South Africa their full current tracks, Japan its sitting docket, Germany every bill of the current electoral period, Australia every bill before the current Parliament, New Zealand its fifty most recent bills, Israel its hundred and fifty.
  • Silent parliaments. Others publish no machine-readable docket at all, no feed, no export, nothing a reader or this page can check. We would rather show the gap than paper over it with a guess.

Sources: official legislative feeds, the European Parliament's procedure files, the Federal Register, gov.uk, Parliament of Canada, the Sénat, PRS Legislative Research, PMG South Africa, the Câmara dos Deputados and Open States. We check them against our watch terms and keep only what matches. How this is built
